Are you TRADING FOOTBALL?
Here at tradingfootball.eu we do not offer a tipping service. Rather, we provide our members training and advice on how to trade. Strategies & articles are available on this site that give detailed instructions on how we employ various techniques to trade in-play & pre match.
The key element of this service is the chatroom. We are proud to say that in our opinion we have the most educational sports trading online environment on the net today. This is due to the consistent contributions made by the members themselves not just by the founders, The Nugget Crew. Drop in anytime to the chatroom and you will see an incredible variety of matches traded and trade proposals on offer. Whether it is our specialist in Italian Serie A or the Bundesliga there is always someone on hand to guide and support you during the in-play trades. It is the reason why we return profits month after month.
The action in the chatroom is sometimes hectic so you need to remain focused to benefit from the quality of information & advice given. There is an additional chatroom where in-play instructions are given so if the banter in the main room is too frantic then this smaller dedicated chat area is available.
In addition we now have The Nags Room which is dedicated to trading horses in-running
Take up our half price introductory offer to see how it all works. We guarantee you will be impressed - and in profit!
Each game has a Draw Inflation % which is based on Home Supremacy and Total Goals.
Our software gives us a reasonable range of anything from minus to 30% which for some games allows us to enter the Match Odds and Over/Under 2.5 markets and capitalise.
This market is the most liquid of any markets so your trades will be taken quicker, plus there will be plenty of games to trade and to profit from.
By following the DI tool you will be able to profit in the Match Odds market before kick off. So you can sit back and enjoy the game knowing your profits are locked in.

WELCOME TO PREMATCH TRADING
How would you like to profit before a football match starts? Before a ball has been kicked? Before the teams come out of the tunnel? Before even the team news has been released?
Our prematch trading tool nicknamed Shirley can do exactly that on the trading exchanges like Betfair/Betdaq.
Shirley is a football markets model based on probability theory and statistics. The software uses prices in liquid markets and calculates relevant prices in secondary markets thus allowing users to spot mispriced events and profit from trading them before the game has started.

The basics of trading sports
I wrote this article for goarticles.com
When I started trading on betfair it looked so easy, so easy that I want big returns straight away and I started making money and subsequently losing it nearly instantly through greed, I have been through many boom and bust cycles with my betting bankroll . So I decided that the only way I was ever going to crack it, was to breakdown the amount I would like to make per month, per day and finally per race. At the moment I am still in bankroll building mode and I am compounding the daily interest on my bank to help it grow quicker.
I set myself a target of 5% increase in my betting bank per day and typically with twenty one races per day this breaks down to a figure of just under 0.24% of my total bank. 0.24% does not seem like an incredible amount and really it isn't, its quite achievable within one or two scalp trades( a scalp trade is a lay bet followed quickly by a back bet or vice versa)and finally a further lay bet to equalise the profit over every horse so I win no matter what the result, all of this is before the race starts and normally within the last ten minutes before it starts.
Now one thing to make you aware of is that I know nothing about horse racing, I know the terms used - distance, form, going and handicap etc. but don't know how there are used and the best bit is I don't need to, because all we are looking for is a gap in the market and being able to sport which direction the odds are moving- whether they are going out (drifting) or coming in (steaming).
This is a technique I use daily

Scoop6 Races for May 19th 2012
May 18th, 2012 at 15:02Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 19th May. They are: -
Race 1 : 2.00 Newbury
Race 2 : 2.30 Newbury
Race 3 : 2.45 Newmarket
Race 4 : 2.55 Thirsk
Race 5 : 3.05 Newbury
Race 6 : 3.30 Thirsk
(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)
There was no winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday. That is great news for you as the Win fund will start off this Saturday with £117,142 rolled over from last week and the Bonus fund starts at £50,204. Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.
Therefore a single winner of the Win and Bonus Funds would scoop around £275,000!
This weekend’s bet takes in action from Newbury, Newmarket and Thirsk and all eyes will be on the former as Frankel makes his seasonal reappearance in the JLT Lockinge Stakes. However, at forecast odds of 1/3, Frankel’s attempt to land the Lockinge does not form part of the Scoop6 but punters can still look forward to four televised races as part of this weekend’s bet.
“Racing fans up and down the country have every reason to celebrate this weekend as not only will we see the reappearance of Frankel at Newbury but there’s also a chance of landing a cool £275,000 on the totescoop6,” said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.
Beat the rush and open an account with Totesport bookmakers, the home of the Scoop6, now. They currently have a great promotion running: – Sign up for a free Totesport betting account, using the links on this page, and get a £10 Free Bet!. One Month of Matched Betting
Matched Betting? What is it about? Well I've mentioned it before on this blog here and that was just between two betting exchanges and giving you around £20 for free and £25 risk free from Betfair.
Now I am going to show you how to take advantage of over £500 of bookmakers bonus offers and free bets and to be able keep the around 80% as cash in the bank, this is perfect way for a newbie to add massive funds to their bankroll but at the same time starting off with minimal investment of around £50-100.
Bookmakers like to entice you in and give you free bets they want new customers and their doors are for you.
Each Bookmaker or betting exchange will offer you a free bet based on your initial bet you place with them, this is called the qualifying bet, once this has been settled you will be awarded a free bet of the same stake e.g. Place a £25 bet and get a free £25 bet.
This diary will run for 30+ days and also the days will be numbered they dont have to be followed consecutively and can be done at your leisure and just complete one or two offers per week, they end result will be the same and you will still have earned around four times your starting bank, this is perfect for any traders who want to start trading on the football at Euro 2012, you could have a £500 bank from £100 outlay in a months time.
So let me give you a brief description of what its all about and how we do it-
To put that into everyday speak, we are going to place bet - both back and lay bet to cover the outcomes of an event to return our original stake, sometimes for a small lose depending on odds or even a small profit or scratch, however once we have placed the bets and the markets have settled the bookmaker will now load our bonus into our betting accounts, these bets can be stake returned or SR, or can be stake not returned or SNR. As stated above the type of bonus bet will affect the amount of bonus you will be able to bag.
Now before we go and put any real money into any bookmakers or betting exchanges, I am going to run you through an example of one free bet offer we did last month.

So let me give you a brief description of what its all about and how we do it-
Matched betting, or back and lay bet matching, is a betting technique used by individuals to profit from the free bets and incentives offered by bookmakers. It is generally considered risk-free as it is based on the application of a mathematical equation rather than chance. A typical return for a matched bet where the stake is returned is 85%+ of the free bet offer amount, and 70%+ where the stake is not returned.
You can see from the picture above that we have covered both sides of the market and whatever happens we will make a small lose any either betting exchange, but here's the best bit is that for around 60p loss we will be awarded a FREE £25 from BETDAQ and although the stake is not returned SNR we could still have earned around £18 for free from this free bet offer.
When Matched Betting, even though we have covered all of the outcomes to place the bet and get the free bet offer, it is always best if you can pick an outcome that is likely to win at betfair as this is where we would be placing our lay bets during the matched betting process and also we wont have to go through any playing above certain odds before withdrawing from bookmaker, and bookmakers would also like you to 'lose' on their side of the Matched Bet as they would see you as a losing customer and would offer further free bet offers and refund offers as well.
So in summary-
- Find an event taking place where the back odds at the bookmaker and the lay odds at the betting exchange are quite similar.
- Remember to select DECIMAL odds at the bookmaker as this is how the odds are displayed at a betting exchange and obviously allow them to be compared easier.
- Try to pick and outcome that will win at the betting exchange- ie When using a football match and you have chosen the 'draw outcome', where you think one team will win, thereby losing at bookmakers and winning at betting exchange, returning your money back to betting exchange.
- Remember to email for the Matched Betting Spreadsheet to help you work out the calculation to get the most money from your FREE BETS and BONUSES.

Scoop 6 12 may 2012
Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 12th May. They are: -

Race 2 : 2.10 Lingfield
Race 3 : 2.50 Ascot
Race 4 : 3.10 Lingfield

There was no winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday. That is great news for you as the Win fund will start off this Saturday with £56,259 rolled over from last week and the Bonus fund starts at £24,111. Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.
Therefore a single winner of the Win and Bonus Funds would scoop around £200,000!

Tiredness can Kill
As you can see from the picture, fatigue plays a really big part in today's performance, you can clearly see that from 1700 Hrs I had clearly gone past my best and the funny thing is that I should listened to my as I was quite aware of how I was feeling but decided to plod on continued to trade even though the last hour was losing one and you can see the losses growing, luckily there was any more races.

BIG RACES=BIG STAKES
I have just finished trading this race and instead of trying to trade by scalping with £20-30 in either direction, I could see the money backing up on Abtaal so I got on board for £100 and did OK out of it,then went back in with a few £10 scalps, that's more than more average per race by twice over, so good experience and well spotted from me,
Scoop6 5th May 2012
There was 1 winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday who won £71,584. They will be playing for the Bonus fund of £30,678 this Saturday. They will need to pick the winner of race 6, the 3.45 Pearl Bloodstock Palace House Stakes at Newmarket. If they fail, any winners of this week’s Scoop6 will get to play for the bonus fund next week.
The punter, who placed just a £2 bet in a William Hill shop in the West Midlands, has chosen to remain anonymous after picking all six Scoop6 winners with the minimum stake.
This weekend’s totescoop6 takes in the very best action from Newmarket, Thirsk and Goodwood and the highlight sees a field of 18 line up for the first classic of the season as last year’s Racing Post Trophy winner Camelot looks to justify favouritism for trainer Aidan O’Brien.
“Anyone looking to land this weekend’s totescoop6 will have to solve the 2000 Guineas conundrum but their efforts will be rewarded with a payout well into six figures,” said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

Missed the boat
Last night I was watching the Manchester Derby with a view to trading the outright Premier League winners market as soon as a goal went in either way, as I have been studying this market for a few weeks/months and knew how it would of reacted, I picked this market as it wasn't going to suspend when a goal was scored, my plan was this, I was going to back or lay Man Utd when a goal was score as there price was at 1.53 and as it went Man city scored and I placed a lay of £250 as Kompany's header was still going into the goal and by the time the bet entered the market the odds were already out to 2.02 and drifting, obviously my pictures aren't as fast as others and I was only about three miles from the ground, I would of greened up the book straight away and I would of had around £150 green book as the market settled at around 2.9-3 , still its a good lesson learnt and something I definitely can take into next season and probably use in others sports. Instead I have got £1.40 from an experiment I tried earlier in the season.
Still onwards an upwards, great to see the weather has taken a back seat tonight and let the evening racing get going, some good profits of £2-3 a race, now they do add up quick.
Another side note here is I hope the people who layed Redknapp at 1.2 do feel to bad, but on the flip side you've got to be happy with the outcome if you layed Harry.
Until next time .....

Record breaker
I'm not sure if Norris Mcwhirter is coming round, but I have just completed my biggest ever trade, I could see the down side wasn't much as the horse was trading at 1.16 and looked where the money had been matched and thought this horse is only going one way- upwards, and so it did, I did this trade the amounts waiting to trade were massive so even if it moved it was only going to be one tick or so.

Redknapp has flipped
I was listen to Matt Finnigans latest podcast over the weekend and this linked to the story I've just read on eurosport, seems that Roy Hodgson has traded places with Harry in the next England Managers market, if only we would have got on sooner eh, Pearcy is out to 36 when he was as low as 5's and Roy is now odds on at 1.4 where as Harry has traded even lower in the past, seems like there are opportunities everywhere to make money on betfair, but lets just try and specialise in a few.

Decisions. Decisions
Too much choice of sport today, Football or F1 and the Marathon has been on already this morning, but to be honest I think anyone watching the Grand Prix is surely going to be left with blood on their TV remotes as we are only endorsing the issues going on in Bahrain, saying that I don't remember anybody speaking in relation to Chinas human rights record last week when it was in Shanghai, so each to their own.
Man Utd could virtually seal the League to day if they win and City Fail to do so, as I dont think we'll see Man Utd drop many more points, except I dont really see them getting a result the 'PrettySad' stadium next week, but thats why we play a league but saying that we beat them in the FA Cup aswell. May try and squeeze in a few horse races just to keep the bank roll- rolling along. Until next time, see ya.

Olympics pfft its all about the Jubilee
I took the day off work today to catch up on some college work, however I gave up once the racing had started and opted for some horse race scalping, and come the 1445 race, I haven't wrote the track name down but the horse was called Jubilee games and it forms a turning point in my trading, the reason being is that I have always traded along the lines of badgers videos, where its like a three sided see-saw and if one goes down then one of the other ladders must go up, but today instead just trading the upwards moving ladder I also traded downwards, I took on board a bit info that I'd learn't from Matt Finnigan's podcasts, where he tells us if the horse isn't going one way then it must going the other, its a 50/50 shot, after a getting few scalps in the bag I had built a buffer where the scalp could go wrong and I was still in profit, this made a more relaxed scalper out of me and resulted in a good profit for me.
Excellent lesson learn't today.
Daily profit £19.12 with evening races to go but will jack it in shortly as I want to watch the Champions League lesson for Chelsea

What evening racing?
It appears that I got the dates wrong, when I said last week that we would have Racing every evening from now on, at least the meetings through the day are starting later and therefore obviously finishing later, it did give me an opportunity to trade a few races after work. No millionaires being created here, but not to be sniffed at, six races traded and nearly £8 profit, more than £200 a month if you could do that every day for an hour or so.
I am still learning the ropes- mentally, and it gives great encouragement to myself and hopefully others who are starting out, that turning a profit from a few races a day will bring you cash in the long run.
Back tomorrow for more of the same? Ooh yes please.
Good Luck

Aintree review
I decided not to have an out right bet on any horse, but I decided to lay the field, I did make a green book, I set my odds at 3.9 with stakes of £2 I had four horses matched but looking back I think I had set the odds too low and next will go for somewhere around 6's as more horse traded there and would have made a better book for me.
I've just come back to write the rest of this post, earlier I would of said how I lost the works sweepstake on Synchronised but now its just RIP.
